The Shelf Usually Tells Me Less Than the Kitchen
I have a habit of turning packages around before I put anything in my cart. Sometimes I am checking ingredients. Sometimes I am wondering why a tiny container costs as much as lunch. Other times I am simply trying to figure out whether the product will make dinner easier or leave me washing three extra things afterward.

My Kitchen Has Seen Plenty of Bad Decisions
I wish I could say experience has protected me from every poor purchase. It has not.
I have bought sauces that sounded exciting and tasted mostly sweet. I have owned containers that leaked into my bag before lunch. I have tried convenient foods that somehow required more cleanup than cooking from scratch. There is also a collection of small kitchen tools in one drawer that I keep because I am still not completely ready to admit some of them were unnecessary.
Those mistakes are part of why I pay attention now. I notice whether something stores easily, whether the serving size makes sense, whether a texture holds up after cooking, and whether I would spend my own money on it twice. A product does not need to be perfect. It just needs to be genuinely useful for the person buying it.
The Questions Followed Me Home
For a long time, product conversations simply happened around me. Friends would ask which plant milk behaved better in coffee, whether a more expensive blender was really worth it, or which frozen plant-based option actually cooked the way the package promised.
I rarely gave a one-word answer. I wanted to know how they planned to use it, how often they cooked, what they wanted to spend, and whether they cared more about convenience, flavor, storage, or cleanup.
By 2026, I realized I had been collecting these kinds of observations for years. Eat Vegan Vybez became a place where I could put them into words. I write from products I have used, compared, handled, or researched because they connect with real everyday needs, not because everything new automatically deserves attention.
Stay for the Useful Part
I do not expect everyone reading this site to shop, cook, or eat exactly as I do. That would make the reviews much less useful.
What I can offer is a careful opinion from someone who has spent a lot of time around food, grocery products, kitchens, and the little frustrations that rarely appear on the front of a package. I care about flavor, practicality, value, cleanup, storage, and whether something still feels like a good purchase after the excitement of buying it has worn off.
When I like something, I will tell you why. When something has drawbacks, I would rather mention them than pretend they do not exist.
